At the age of 24, I embarked on a career in the financial services industry, driven by a desire for independence and security for my family. This field has afforded me the unique opportunity to connect with a diverse array of individuals, each with their own compelling stories.

Since 1984, I have been dedicated to the financial services sector in my home state of Florida. Insurance runs in my veins, with both my father and grandfather having laid the groundwork before me. Early in my career, I earned recognition and several prestigious industry awards, including the National Quality Award, National Sales Achievement Award, Health Insurance Quality Award, Million Dollar Round Table, and the esteemed Top of the Table Honors. In 1996, I was honored with my company’s Agent of the Year award.

In the mid-90s, I achieved the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations from The American College as a Financial Planner. These accomplishments are among my proudest, alongside my roles as a husband and father.

As a Fiduciary and Financial Planner, I approach my responsibilities with utmost seriousness. Unlike many advisors who fail to conduct thorough fact-finding to determine the best retirement plan for each individual, I am committed to ensuring each client receives a tailored strategy

In 1999, I founded my own Estate and Retirement Planning Firm in The Villages. At that time, retirement firms were scarce in the area, so I began conducting workshops to reach as many households as possible. I continued this endeavor until 2008 when a personal tragedy led me to semi-retire. In 2010, I moved to Costa Rica, where I met my wonderful wife, Vanessa, through a mutual friend.

While enjoying life in Costa Rica and raising a daughter, a former mentor invited me to speak at his company’s convention. This opportunity reignited my passion for the industry. I soon found myself traveling the country, lecturing, and speaking to other financial advisors about the opportunities within our field. Missing the daily interaction with clients, I decided to reopen my practice in The Villages in June 2020.

Today, I conduct educational workshops in the area and cherish the time spent with my five children and eight grandchildren. As an author, educator, lecturer, and financial planner, I host these educational events weekly to ensure that my clients and potential clients are well-informed about the challenges and opportunities of a secure retirement.
